The role of the Associate Dean, Clinical Affairs is as chief clinical administrator for the Faculty of Dentistry; overseeing clinic operations of its in-house dental teaching hospital, dental laboratory and outreach clinics, in coordination with the associated undergraduate and graduate academic programs. They are responsible for the supervision of two managers and over 50 unionized staff in the Office of Clinical Affairs and in budgetary planning and management of the Faculty’s clinics. The Associate Dean leads the Faculty in developing, managing and maintaining the goals of the Faculty related to patient care, infection control, clinical educational programs and clinical research.
