SSQ Travel Coverage reminder

Travel coverage, provided by SSQ, is applicable to Dalhousie employees (who are enrolled in the health benefit) and their dependents.
听
Some important information that you need to know about your travel coverage includes:
听
- There is no pre-existing condition exclusions for active employees.
- Trip duration is up to 180 consecutive days.
- Medical expenses up to $1,000,000.
- Coverage begins when you leave your province of residence.
- SSQ does not need to be notified of any trips you take.
- In the event of an emergency while traveling, please call SSQ immediately: - -Within Canada/USA: 1-866-783-9473 and outside of Canada/USA: 1-514-285-8195
