Dear colleagues,
As part of our commitment to enhancing individual, team and organizational effectiveness through higher levels of engagement, achievement, health, and satisfaction at Dalhousie, the Human Resources Department regularly offers learning and development opportunities to all interested university employees.
These professional development opportunities are usually offered in the form of programs, workshops and seminars, varying from one-hour “lunch-and-learns” to full-day workshops and multiple-day certificate programs on workplace-related topics, at no direct cost to employees. To date, these opportunities have been mostly offered on the Halifax campuses.
We would now like to expand our programming and begin offering developmental opportunities in Truro. To help guide us towards your needs and interests, we ask that you respond to this brief survey by January 15th, 2013 (12 pm). To complete the survey, go to:
Please note: Your participation in this survey will remain anonymous and does not imply a commitment on your part to participate in activities. At this time, we are simply exploring your current and most pressing needs and interests, and we are committed to continuing to work together to explore how we could best meet your learning needs into the future.
Please contact us if you have any questions. Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration,
Your local HR team: Carla, Kerri, Amanda and Lisa,
On behalf of Employee & Organizational Development,
Human Resources
